Mousses, Lefkada - any top tips of places to go, things to do?

We're off to Mousses for 2 weeks at start of August (sold purely on the photos of the pool and beaches) with a 10, 7 and 3 year old. Any top tips from MNers who have been there before with places to go and things to do would be gratefully received.

Drive round to Nidri and hire a boat - think the rep usually uses Trident Hire. Very easy to do, your 10 year old will help. They'll show you beaches to stop off at.

We always enjoyed the Odyessia boat trip, again from Nidri, and can be booked through the rep. Also worth visiting the Acheron Gorge on the mainland. There is a waterpark on the way which has some slides.

Car hire - if you have a car as part of a package then the boot may be on the small side so pack soft sided bags.
