We have a few days in S France in Sept for a wedding (without kids...). Had visions of staying a few days in a pretty hilltop town, wandering down the cobbled streets to a little restaurant and somehow finding our way back to a hotel/B&B after one too many glasses... We booked somewhere in Fayence after someone recommended it, but now thinking we've made the wrong choice. Does it fit the bill or would we be better off at St. Paul de Vence/Mougins or somewhere else? Any recommendations welcome.
