Crete recommendations

Can anyone recommend an all inclusive resort in Crete? We are looking for good pools, preferably with slides, and walking distance to the beach and a small town. Thank you! We are hoping to get some sun in October half term, and it can be hard entertaining our ds5 and dd12 due to the age difference.

Don't bank on swimming pool weather in October in Crete. It might be warm enough, but it also rains a lot. You might be better off going to one of the Canary islands.

We went to the atlantica atki zeus with first choice. It's a splash world resort and had some water slides on site (we also did a day trip to the big water park). It also has 2 pools and is on the beach. It's not a huge resort and the food was reasonable with lots of choice. I would recommend it.

Sorry should say it's in Crete and about 20 minutes from the airport.

Has a power station next door but don't let that put you off and we didn't notice it at all apart from seeing it from our room (no noise or pollution)
