Any recommendations for Antigua?

Thinking of a week in October, DH and I. No DC to come with us. We're interested in somewhere that we can stay and eat if we want to, but where we're not tied to an all-inclusive deal so we can go out if we want to.

Needs to be a place with a pool though, and ideally on the beach (I know there are plenty of beaches there )

Galley Bay every time for us. Kids aren't allowed!

We did Sugar Ridge which was nice but hilly.

You can't go wrong with Antigua - we would live there if we could.

In the end, I went for Tobago - but Antigua is definitely on the list for another visit!

I haven't been there but we adore the Caribbean and it's our 'go to' place
