Does anyone know the max weight for the sky cots/basinettes? or age?

Hi ali, I'm a travel agent so hopefully this will be of some use. According to the airlines a child under 2 years old is an infant, is not allocated a seat and therefore should be allowed to use a skycot if you are seated in the bulkhead seats. Keep in mind that your baby must also still be under 2 whenever your return flight takes place. The exact dimensions of the sky cots can vary slightly from airline to airline and some airlines may have certain restrictions depending on the size of their skycots. It's best to check with the airline you will be travelling with to be sure but it would be very unusual for them to not allow a child under 2 to use it. You will need to request a skycot when you book the flights but unfortunately, the biggest problem can be that the airlines do not guarantee the skycots which is a pain. Hope this helps out somewhat!
