accomodation in Singapore

Has anyone got any suggestions for accomodation in Singapore for a stop over from uk to Sydney with two small children?

we stayed here - right on the river, courtesy bus to huge shopping centre and raffles, two minute walk to metro station, a short walk to fab places to eat. Know other mumsnetters have stayed here too. Not too expensive for airport transfers, pool was fab - had a great size toddler pool, on site spa for massages, facials etc for you

we booked online - could have been asiarooms or something like that - got a fab deal. We stayed a week enroute to Aus.

We stayed at the Marina Mandarin recently with our three and they all absolutely adored it (www.marina-mandarin.com.sg). The rooftop pool was stunning, the staff were really lovely to the children and I would highly recommend the breakfast buffet, at least once! DD (3) still cries regularly that she "wants to go back and live in the hotel"! I e-mailed them directly and got a much better deal than I had been quoted via an agent. We had adjoining rooms which worked out really well.
