Ireland holidays with childcare/entertainment - caravan/hotel, not fussy!!

I'm looking for a holiday in Ireland. I've found hotels on the internet that claim to have 'the best childcare' but don't explain what they mean! I'd consider caravanning, but no holiday parks seem to have kids clubs.
Travelling alone with only child - entertainment & other kids are essential or we'll both go mad!

I haven't stayed here but friends stay regularly with their children

here

The only other place I know of is somewhere called Trabolgan which is a bit like Centre Parks I think....

Hi,
I'm from Ireland so I know quite a few places. Not sure Trabolgan is the right place, it can attract quite a dodgy crowd.

If you're looking for a hotel with kids clubs, there are a few. It really depends on where you are going and what age your child is.

Kellys Resort Hotel is in Rosslare on the south-East coast, right beside a huge beach and the hotel and offers childcare with top quality full board meals on top. It is hugely popular but very expensive.
Dingle Skelligs Hotel in County Kerry has an extensive kids program.
Also Westport woods in Westport (County Mayo).
If you know where you're going I could send you some more specific tips.

Also FYI, there is a very popular Irish website for families called www.Rollercoaster.ie which has loads of info on hols in Ireland in its Discussion forums.

Kellys is one of the best known. It has a great reputation and i know adults who love it!
I am Irish but live here, so Im back and foward. We holiday with our kids all over the place as I want them to know their Irish roots too! LOL not to mention introducing hubby to all areas of Ireland!
Everywhere is friendly,so you will find people pretty helpful too...

Good luck!
Fiona
