BED LINEN (Italy s/c Lake Garda)...are they serious...

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help...

I've booked a week at Camping Bella Italia to stay in a mobile home. We've been quoted £29 to hire bed linen, and they say that no duvets are included?!? Can this be right? It seems an awful lot to pay for a bedsheet and pillowcase (it's one double and one single set, £17 and £12). We're going in the first week of September and I don't want to be freezing at night. We're flying too, so they can't seriously expect us to take duvets/sleeping bags on the plane?!

Which company?

Blardy hell! Do you get to keep it afterwards??

there will probably be blankets in there for you, so it's just sheets and pillowcases you need, easy enough to pack your own.

Have taken a double duvet in a suitcase once though - very light one which rolled up tiny.

We made the mistake of not hireing linen when flying over, bad idea the sheets and all that took up loads of space and they only provided a travel rug, Siblu that we went with the hire would have included duvets as well as sheets.

We have taken sheets in the past but it is a whole extra bag to heft about...and as we tend to go for a fortnight or more in July, they get a bit unsavoury.... or need washing. So this time we are hiring, especially as we're going on a budget airline with weight/extra cost implications.

You will get pillows and tartan blankets. As it will be September, won't it still be quite warm at night?

We usually travel light re. clothes so I don't think it would be problematic to pack sheets, just not the whole shebang ie duvets/sleeping bags. I just don't think one blanket each is enough for a mobile home in N.Italy at night. Am I wrong? We booked through Leisure Direction and they don't seem to be returning my calls.

Thanks for your help anyway!
