South of France caravan without a car?

Member251061 · 26/06/2016 20:12

Does anyone know of any family friendly caravan sites (to hire) on the South Coast of France, preferably near Nice, that is accessible without the use of a car? I'm trying to find somewhere for August and I'm not having much luck.
Thank you

We went to Les Mediterranees Garden - Beach Garden with Canvas Holidays (who have static caravans as well as tents) and there was British a family with two young children who were arriving at the same time as us having got there by bus from the airport so, although we didn't do it personally, it is possible at that site. It might be worth contacting some of the holiday companies like Canvas, Eurocamp, Roan Camping as they would probably know which sites you can get to without a car.

I know this is a while back but did you find anything?

Vias Plage is a short taxi trip from Beziers airport and has everything on hand - shops/restaurants/beach etc. Siblu/Canvas/Eurocamp have a presence there.

Look at La Chapelle in Argeles sur Mer. No car needed as everything is in walking distance. It's about 20 mins from Perpignan airport.
