Going to Italy for a wedding in October - thinking about a villa?

We have been invited (me, dh, and 2 kids who will then be 8mo and 2+8mo) to a wedding in Turin in October. We'd like to make a holiday of it as dh can't get any time off over the summer, but don't know where to start looking for a villa for a week. All the places that advertise seem to be Tuscany/Umbria which are just too far from the wedding. Any suggestions?

Have you searched online. My mother has two villas in Tuscany and she advertises them exclusively online. Let me know if that doesn't work and I will try to find same names of italian sites.
