Can anyone recommend a good (but not expensive) self catering place in or around Dawlish?

My dh is desperate for us to go away in our caravan for the summer hols. I cannot bear to do this as I hate them. So I have said I will find a nice but not too expensive self catering lodge/house/cottage etc for the end of July. Can anyone recommend?

Hi, i remember going to Dawlish Warren in Devon to a self-catering place called Welcome family holiday park. It had lots for the kids and for the adults, cheap food and lots of laughs.

That is if you meant Dawlish in Devon.
