dd holiday spending money

Hi, my dd is 16, she's going on holiday abroad self catering for a week with her friend and family. We've paid for her to go (not sure if that's relevant lol).
I'm not sure how much money to give dd, or whether I should just give the parents money for her food/drinks, then just give dd spending money.
Last year we took a different friend with us on a uk holiday, and just included her when we went out for meals etc, she had her own spending money, but I know all families do things differently, so don't want to assume they'll include her in meals.
Would you give the parents money for food, and if so how much? And how much spending money for dd.
Thank you.

Can you ask the parents what they 're expecting? Or ask dd what she wants to do?

Hi thanks for replying, I know the obvious answer is to ask the parents lol, the closer it gets the more nervous I'm being about her going!!
