Car hire from home to airport

I'm going on hols soon and travelling standby, so want some flexibility on which UK airport I come back to.

Can I hire a car to get me from home to airport and then again from airport to home....

Home is South East, and first airport could be Manchester

Yes, the big car hire firms will let you do that. It sometimes costs a bit more than a normal rental

I've done this a lot with Hertz for work. Generally the extra fee is around 50 quid so you may want check that it isn't cheaper to get a taxi.
