can I take an empty kids drinks bottle in hand luggage

Does anyone know? It's a decent one so I wouldn't want it confiscated.

Not travelling with hold luggage.

Departing Luton if that makes any difference!

Yes its only liquids you can't take through. (Although you can buy liquids once you're through security)

Look out for/ask about a drinking fountain immediately after security to refill water bottles - Edinburgh and Manchester T2 both have them. Saves having to buy bottled water.
