What is it like in September.

Ive heard it is rainy. How bad does it get and would it spoil a holiday.

I think I'd be cautious. IME there's very little to do in the pouring rain, snorkelling in a down pour gets old very quickly.
DH & I have been several times in the winter and when it rained we retired to the bar which resulted in an horrific bill.
Gorgeous destination though.
