Mallorca - Sa Coma or Cala Bona?

Weve been to Puerto Pollensa twice and loved it but now desperately seek childcare for second child 19months. Have decided that we will go Thomson because easy with the children, despite some aspects that we dont particularly like. Has anyone been to sa coma or cala bona or stayed in any superfamily accomm? we need a creche! Weve tried Mark Warner twice, and Thomson once so it's thomson's turn again we think!! Mark Warner is tooooo pricey!

We had a day in Sa Coma last summer - the beach was v nice.

However I'm afraid I can't be much help on the accomodation front as we stayed in a villa near Peguera.

I went to Sa Coma 5 years ago.. it was very much a work in progress. The hotel we stayed in was beautiful 4* - fantastic, spotless and friendly however. The food and general atmosphere was a bit crap.

That was 5years ago though, I expect the place will have changed a fair bit.

sarcoma definitely. HAve stayed at the coma gran twice and are going back there this year and it is fab. And I am the kind of person who swore I would never go back to the same place twice.

HI Tab, we have also been to Puerto Pollensa & have booked an apartment for 2 weeks.

We are staying an extra 2 nights & thought we'd try somewhere else on the island...possibly Sa Coma, because of the lovely beach. I have somewhere in mind, but can't remember off hand the place. It's with Thomson though.

Have you made a decision yet ? when are you going ?

Have now booked for Cala Bona - just because we thought be better get somehting for half term week - 28 May. So excited. Was a complete toss up really. I love Puerto Pollensa and may regret decision but hey we've got 2hours of childcare for 6 days for both of them so can't be bad!!
Soooo excited - want to start packing!!
