How long are passport renawals taking at the moment?

I renewed online last Monday and sent the forms off the same day and I can see that the documents have arrived. They went to the Cardiff office and I just wondered if anyone had applied recently and how long it took to get the passport back.

I'm in no hurry for the passport just not very patient!

child renewal 2w (but included bank holiday)

Mine was very quick - within about a week to 10 days IIRC but that was March.

I got mine back last week, I think it was just over 2 weeks. I applied for 3 at the same time, adult and child renewals and my youngest son's first passport, the new one came 2 days before the renewals!

I spoke to passport office today, and the turnaround is very quick they said, about 2 weeks.

2 adult, 2 child renewals here. Applied beginning of May, got them back 5 days later! Record!!

I got a text message this morning to say its been dispatched. So a quick turnaround.

2 weeks for child renewal, arrived yesterday.

Child renewal last month took 1 week

I applied for 1 renewal and 1 child first a few weeks ago, 5 days it took to receive back from the day I sent it!! Was amazed
