Any body know ow well this folds down?

And what about car seats? My mum is appalled that you have to put even a new baby in a bucket seat and can't lie them flat so this seems a good option.

Any advice?

the which report find the matrix car seat very unasfe when i lie flat ode (fine when in normal car seat mode but does need a lot of seat belt)

i personally would refuse to drive my car if a baby was in the matrix in lie flat position full stop!

they are much better protected in a crash in other conventional car seats such as the maxi cosi caabrio

littlepain a few years ago which reviewd the seat (in sitting up mode) and in sitting up mode it was ok.... just NOT in lie flat mode

i had the powertrack with the lie down model. ds2 is 10 months and came out of it at 5 months. didnt realise that it is now considered dangerous.

eek, just saw this, know it's a bit late, but someone might want to see it. Apparently it's the video of the matrix in a crash test, it does look like it.
