Best attractions

I'm looking for somewhere new to take DD this summer. She's just turned 2 and would love some recommendations. We're based in the north east but don't mind travelling and staying over anywhere.
Ideally looking for theme parks with suitable rides, Safari parks with enough to hold her interest or anything anyone else can think of :)

The Forbidden Corner in Leyburn is a good place for little ones to explore.

We visited Forbidden Corner last year and my DS, who was 4 at the time was a bit nervous. It depends on how brave your DD is. I would recommend Lightwater Valley and Stockeld Park. My 2 love Alton Towers and Drayton Manor but they are around a 3 hour drive from the North East
