Bella Italia site on Lake Garda? Siblu or Canvas?

We're thinking of booking a mobile home at the Bella Italia site on Lake Garda in May or June. Has anyone been to that site? How was it?

Siblu (Haven Europe) and Canvas both have accommodation on that site, and we're not sure whom to book with if we go. Any recommendations or comments on Siblu or Canvas? What are the kids' clubs like? The dds will be 2 and 4.

there are loads of companies that do Bella Italia, it looks like a huge park .

Thomson Alfresco
Hoseason
There own site
Keycamp

Siblus kids club for that age is not a childcare one just sessions you go to with the children. I think the Keycamp ones are similar for this age. They are run in and around a tent or gazebo which is not always totally enclosed. The sites often run there own ones too but often they are open air and not in an enclosed secure area either. Check very carefully if you are looking for a creche type club.

Hi, have travelled with Canvas with 2 kids before and, as i haven't heard of the other company you mention, would go with Canvas every time - the kids clubs run by Canvas, Keycamp etc only ever allow you to leave kids 4+ with them although sometimes the campsite itself runs its own kids club, which might take younger ones. the one we went to in Dordogne last year did, and our 3 year old was allowed in. We are thinking of going to Italy camping this year, so would be interested in finding out more too - how are you getting there? By the way, Canvas were very good, and they seem to choose all the excellent sites and have very honest and accurate descriptions of them. Good luck.

Went with canvas last year as they were the only kids club where you could leave a 4yo,and were open early in the season, so definately worth checking all the companies for ages/dates of clubs. Have used Keycamp preschool age 'club' too, well set up marquee with lots of little tikes type toys, ride-ons, painting etc. You have to stay with the children though.
