Anyone been to Pierre & Vacances Moliets - SW France?

Thinking about going to this resort in August, but never been to Pierre & Vacances sites before.

We have 2 children aged 5 and 2 (will be 6 and 3 by then).

We've usually stayed at smaller aparthotels, or villas before.

Kids like the beach and pool, we like sight-seeing and eating out.

What's the accomodation like? Will it be too crowded, noisy in August?

My parents have taken my brother's children there twice - they really liked it. The first year they went (I think 3 years ago) it was busy in August, but they obviously didn't find it unpleasant, because they went back the following year, but it was unusually quiet then because of a big oil spill in that area.

The children must have been 7 and 4 the first year they went. They went to kids clubs for part of the day, which they really enjoyed, but they are French speakers. My Dad did comment that as all the kids activities cost extra on top of the basic cost of the holiday, it can get quite expensive.

The food in the restaurant is good, but if you opt for meals as part of the package, the menu is restricted and, according to my Dad, the portions are smaller than if you eat in the restaurant on an a la carte basis.

Last year they went to a different Pierre & Vancances place near St Tropez.
