I wonder if there anyone much still left who remembers an identical thread title from nearly 10 years ago?

Mumsnetters helped me so much 10 years ago that I wanted to share my new (with luck much shorter) journey with anyone who remembers.

So answers on a postcard... were you here back then? What am I blithering about, where am I going on 24th May and who with...I won't ask if you care because I doubt I'll want to hear the answer as I'm ridiculously excited!

I was here! (Not quite exactly ten years ago, but it will be ten years in October, and I remember reading about/catching up with your story). Can't believe it was that long ago actually.

HA ha - good lord I'm 51 - my days of little ones are gone now. I did apply for another about 6 years ago but become suddenly very ill and had to give it up (reluctantly) too late now...

No, I'm taking DS back to see where he came from. Hoping to get him an invite to visit the orphanage he lived in. He (and I) are very excited and I am very panicky!
