quick London highlight with a 9 year old

I'll have approximately 3 hours in London with my nine year old son before we go and watch 'The Railway Children'. Any ideas of how to spend that time fruitfully before the show? Ideally Kings Cross/Euston or that side of London? Thank you very much

You could go for a walk around Regents Park (the zoo is also there but expensive) or the markets at Camden that isn't far away from Kings Cross.
