Cape Verde medical facilities

Anyone been to Cape Verde? Thinking of going in August with our 2 year old and will be 7 month year old. Someone mentioned to me to check out what medical facilities they have and immunisations for the children. Any thoughts? I've Googled but mixed info. Thanks

Ensure you have travel insurance

Is beautiful , but a little under developed, it is like stepping back 60 years ago, but that is the charm of going somewhere like that

Take some basic medecine with you eg suntan cream, immodium, paracetamol, have your travel injections etc

I believe hospitals are few and small

It is very windy !
