Trying to book up summer mammoth trip to France. Need cheapish hotel near ferry. Just noticed PL family rooms only take 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby under 2. We have 3 year old twins and a 2 year old. Not sure if we should risk turning up and just pretend dd is 2. I'm sure we'll managed to squeeze her into the cot but don't really want to risk us all being turfed out if they notice she's not exactly a baby(it'll be quite late).

we've done this. took 3 yr old twin on holiday, but was techincally only a bed for one - they slept top and tail. one person goes in with say the twins and gets the key etc. then you just go with dd straight to the room. easy peasy.

Wrap her up in a blanket and hold her like a baby.
