Child-friendly restaurant near Aldwych

Hello

Can anyone recommend a child-friendly place to eat on a Saturday evening in/near Aldwych, London?

DH and I have no idea where to take DS (5 and a half) for dinner during a weekend break in the big smoke.

Any suggestions from city Mumsnetters gratefully received!

there's a wagamama not v far away, streatham st, off museum street and various pizza / pasta places on the strand..... there will be lots of options and you wont starve!

and a lovely chinese retaurant, shanghai blues, high holborn / new oxford street. a bit more special. should book
