for a 23 month old when travelling from the airport to your destination in a foreign country? I am assuming the taxies won't come with child car seats

Where are you going to? Is it possible to book a taxi in advance with a carseat? Otherwise, the only option I can think of is to sit in the back with LO on your knee and strap yourselves in tightly, and get the driver not to drive too fast.

where ? You may be able to prebook a taxi with a car seat from the airport but otherwise local ones are hot and miss.

our car seat for DS2 is absolutely HUGE and very very heavy. I don't think I could physically carry it across an airport.
