French school holiday zones?! Do they have off/ on peak times?

We're looking at going to France (Paris) Easter 2017 and I've just discovered that they have "school holiday zones" whereby different parts of the country have different Easter holidays.

Zone A - 15/4/17 to 1/5/17
Zone B - 8/4/17 to 23/4/17
Zone C - 1/ 4/17 to 17/4/17 (same as our local schools in the UK).

Does this mean there is basically no such thing as off-peak over this period, in terms of accommodation prices/ Eurostar/ flights /Disneyland entry because somewhere in France is going to be on holiday for a period of a whole month over Easter?

Paris is zone C so plenty of Parisians will be away for the 2 weeks of their Spring break, if that helps.

Yes you are right. For 2017 school holidays are spread from 4th Feb to 6th March for the winter half term and from 1st April to 2nd May for the spring half term. So if you want to go away when the French aren't on holiday you need to go between the 6th march and 1st April.
