Sardinia (with 3.5 & 2 yr old ) ????

Has anyone got any recommendations or advice regarding Sardinia. We have a 3.5 yr old and a 2 yrd old and like the look of Sardinia, nice beaches, short haul etc. Would be really keen to hear personal views or experiences... First holiday abroad with children so it is all a bit daunting, I think I need some help!!!!

I shall watch this with interest as we're thinking of taking our 5 year old DDs there this year.
