We are going at the beginning of October, should we pay to get the pool heated? thanks.

We did when we went in October. Not sure what the pool would have been like without it, but didn't want to risk it. The water was quite warm, which meant we could swim late into the evening, which was lovely after a day at the parks

I would, especially if you want to use it in the evenings - the sun goes down quick and the temp drops.
