Anyone flown with a Maxi Cosi Tobi toddler seat?

We're flying to the Caribbean shortly and would like to take a car seat for our 2-year-old to sit in on the plane. We've been lent a Maxi Cosi Tobi seat, which is normally used with standard car seat belts, but I'm having trouble finding out whether it'll work with the plane lap belt. I've checked the BA website and the dimensions are OK, but there's no guidance about the actual fixings. Any advice most welcome!

They can allocate it to you but you may be moved on flight day for babies. It just depends on how things go and the need for the bulk head seats.

Out of interest, how does that work if people have paid extra for those seats? Surely they don't get moved?

You can't pay extra for bulkhead seats I don't think. They are allocated. You can pay extra for extra leg room seats at the doors etc but those only go to able bodied passengers.

Ah, right. That makes sense.

Someone on here complained about this happening to her on a BA flight. Thought she had booked the bulkhead but was bumped on check in. It was recently if you scroll down I am sure you will find it.

Is this the thread you're thinking of?

It seems as if the situation is actually the opposite of what you're saying - you can sort of reserve the bulkhead seats if you have a baby but can be turfed out of them if someone's prepared to pay for them.
