Anyone been there? Is it nice. More importantly, is it safe?

Will be taking a 10 year old, 7 year old and a 23 month old. yikes!

Anyone know any web sites that will tell me if its safe to travel there and if we need any jabs before we go?

Not been to El Gouna, but have been to Sharm El Sheik, which I think is along the coast a bit. I would check the foreign office website for travel advice, we went to Egypt two years ago and felt safe everywhere we went but there have been bombs since then and they do target tourist locations. Don't think you need any jabs for Red Sea destinations.
