February 2017 - 50th Birthday Celebration - Where would you recommend?

Want to get something booked for next Feb. Will be me, DH and DS age 12 going so must have some luxury/nice food, pool, rooms for me and stuff for DS to do to keep entertained.

It will be around Feb so want to go somewhere warm as well and not too lengthy a flight

Love Caribbean - haven't been to Barbados quite fancy that - any recommendations here?
Fancy Dubai haven't been was looking at The Atlantis The Palm -anyone been?

Been to Dubai, but not the Atlantis. Nice restaurants and the backstreets near the museum are interesting for a wander - large Indian community there, light shows and dancing fountains at the shopping malls. You can take a trip to the desert to go dune bashing which might be fun for your DS.
