First holiday with baby

We are off to Majorca in Sept and it's our first holiday as a family. DD will be 14 months and I'm asking for any hints and tips for the flight, things to take, what we can buy there etc. We're staying self-catering in Cala D'or so any info on the area will be good too!

If you have room I found a small blow up paddling pool useful at that age so that they could play in water next to us on the beach without constantly needing to be taken into the sea. And talc for getting the wet sand off easily.

Finger puppets can kill more time than you think on the plane.

Amazingly, the £1 shop do a small paddling pool that is perfect for toddlers. We tool one on every holiday and then gave it away before we left.
