Can anyone recommend any private apartments? Preferably with a little something on the complex, Eg football pitch.
Finding something otherwise is proving to be very expensive!!!

Have booked in the past with FlipKey which is part of the tripadvisor website.

Where do you want to go, how many bedrooms etc?

Anywhere really!! 2 bedrooms minimum.
There is 5 of us 2 adults and 3 children (14,16 and 7).
Need abit of something for the teens to do.
Have looked through Thomson etc at hotels and for something decent we are looking at about £4500. We didnt pay much more than that for Florida last year.

Several in Carvoeiro, Algarve (I live here)
Monte Dourado
Rocha Brava
Quinta do Paraiso
Monte Carvoeiro
All walking distance to a beach too - Rocha Brava to Centeanes beach, the others to Carvoeiro village and beach, although it tends to be tennis rather than football

Yes, lots of private owners on homeaway, owners direct, holidaylettings etc. There's a thread on here that I started at the beginning of last season which might give you some idea of the place?
