Almond Resorts, Barbados

We're wanting to book a holiday in Barbados next November. We've been saving for this for a while - it's kind of a delayed honeymoon - so I'm really wanting not to make a mistake!!

We have 2 kids who will be 2.10 and 1.3 at the time of the holiday. We would rather go all inclusive, and would definitely like to be able to use a kids club occasionally.

I've found Almond Beach Village which sounds like it meets the bill (esp as it has a 'nursery' kids club which we can't find elsewhere), but now I've just seen that they will be opening a newly refurbished Almond Casuarina resort this year. Obviously there are no reviews yet on e.g. Tripadvisor about this hotel.

So...does anyone have any advice as to whether we should go for the established AB Village (which some say is a bit 'tired') or for the new Almond Casuarina (which is unchartered territory and is also on the 'inferior'(??) south coast). They have the same star rating with Virgin, but Casuarina is a bit cheaper.

Any advice would be welcomed!
