Thinking of booking a holiday in Chatelaillon plage, just south of La Rochelle. I've visited La Rochelle some years ago pre children and it was lovely but possibly a bit boring for children. Has anyone had any experience of a family holiday in this area - what are beaches like, is there much to do if the weather isn't too hot.....etc?
