We have stayed at the Vilasol Hotel in Vilamoura, which is brilliant and has lots for kids. We only really go into Vilamoura for dinner sometimes though, or a walk. We usually hire a car and do day trips around.

We were looking at a town house to let in the old village, all the children in our group are five and under. Is there much there for adults? many restaurants and bars to choose from?

I did Vilamoura quite a few years ago. One of my least memorable holidays. Not much to do unless you like golf. I personally wouldn't recommend it.
