Have booked package which includes coach transfers to our hotel. Will we need an infant car seat?
She'll be on my lap on the plane so we don't need one for that and unlikely we'll be venturing out of hotel complex during our stay so won't need one there either.

An infant car seat won't work on a coach anyway as they only use lap belts.

One presumes a car seat is not required by law and you would just hold them on your lap as it would be a well known requirement which the company would have to publicise if travelling to Spain.

Ok thanks Hersetta. I had tried to google the laws about car seats but it was all a bit 'woolly' with no definitive answer.

car seats are not required or needed in coaches or buses, anywhere as far as I know. The odds on a crash are much lower and the physics of any accident are different.

but if there is a belt that you are using, do not put it round the baby.
