Well if I was going I'd want to go to Drakes or \link}{http://www.hotelduvin.com/brighton/brighton_welcome.asp\Hotel du vin} but that's if I was going with dh. If I was going with a friend I'd pro go for an appartment (unless you were going for sep rooms) hang on, I did have one saved, let me see if I've still got it.

Bum, I meant Hotel du vin

WideWebWitch · 06/01/2007 18:57

I did still have it, here, these apartments look nice

problem with a hotel is that there are 3 of us, I suppose...would be nice to all be in same room, s maybe apartment is better.
any ideas for nice apartments? have had a quick look yesterday but always good to get recommendations!
Drakes looks lurverly, have you been?

Looking at the rates for that apartment it'll prob work out cheaper too. I suppose it depends on whether you want a sea view, room service etc. Bet you could get Waitrose/Ocado or another supermarket to deliver groceries and wine to the apartment though so you didn't have to shop when you were there.

Wow, sounds lovely!

I haven't been to Drakes but CountessDrac has. Don't know anything about the aprtmt either except looks good from the website. You could look on tripadvisor . Also, Laterooms have started doing reviews, do look at them.

Drakes is lovely, but I went there with dh. I think that Hotel du vin is better for a group of women - bar is nice before you go out and it is slightly more central.

apartment looks great - going to e-mail for availability! thanks for that.

soooo excited! going to have relatively calm Friday going for a meal and planning our BIG NIGHT OUT on Saturday!
