FERRIES TO CALAIS/BOOLOGNE - PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT CODES

Hoping to go to Brittany in the summer but ferries to Caen/St. Malo far too expensive so have decided to take short crossing and drive (for 7 ish hours I think???). Argh!
Does anyone know of any dscount codes that can be used when booking ferries?
Has anyone ever stayed anywhere near La Baule on the Brittany coast and has experienced this drive? We were thinking of taking an evening crossing and then driving for a couple of hours in France and staying somewhere very cheap and cherful, before setting off again in the morning.
Any advice/places to stay over etc. would be really appreciated as Brittany virgins.
Thanks

Sorry - just wanted to bump this once more.
Anyone know of any special offers on Dover/Calais crossings for this summer?
Thanks

Thanks a lot Snorkle, that's a bargain. Do you have a website address or company name?

Look for a chain called B&B for overnight stays. Theyhave family rooms, 2 adults, 2 kids with ensuites and a little 'mezzanine' for the kids. Good value, gets booked up wuick. IRRC there are a couple about 2 hrs from calais/boulogne
