Hi, has anyone got any experience or knowledge of working/ volunteering hols with kids? my kids will be 2 and 4 and a half in summer; would they be too young? Fancy doing something worthwhile and teaching them about importance of helping others from young age.. Or, am i mad?!!!!

2 and 4.5 may be a tad young - the youngest especially will still need a lot of your attention. Personally, I'd concentrate on having fun for most of the holiday, and maybe do a one or two day volunteer thing if you can find something appropriate - I saw something on TV recently about children on a conservation day project building bird boxes and learning about the birds, but I think they were older, maybe 7 or 8.
