Aside from lots of walks, any good recommendations for a new Mum and little one in and around Richmond? Saw get togethers at Mothercare in Kew and Mum and me classes at The Arches in Kew. Any other ideas or suggestions? Going stir crazy. : )

We used to live near richmond and the Lollipop club at the rugby club on kew road was a lifeline, bouncy castle, toys, homemade cakes.... open all day weekdays. There is also a fairly new soft play centre in richmond but I can't remember its name, seem to remember it had a jungle theme. my kids loved climbers & creepers in kew gardens -- worth buying annual membership if you are nearby. Monkey music runs a class in Kew for all ages pre-school kids. just down the road in chiswick are the childsplay cafe and the dandelion cafe in the grounds of chiswick house, both child-oriented. have fun.

The soft play in Richmond is Hugo's which is ok but I think a bit pricey - £3.95 under 1 and £1 for an adult, plus it's a Costa coffee so add £3 for a drink!

Oremstango - I think these might be a bit much for your little one unless you're just happy to meet up & chat with other mums! What about mother & baby yoga classes?

Also in Chiswick is the Natural Cafe on Chiswick HIgh Road. In Hounslow there is a city farm.

At the Watermans Centre on Wednesday's there is a music class and they also do screamers showings of movies to mums with babies

Oh and there is Snakes and Ladders (soft play centre) in Syon Park (along with other things like a Butterfly House)
