London hotel babysitter

Hello,
We are going to London for a gig and will be staying in a hotel with our 10 month old son. Does anyone have experience hiring a sitter for a London hotel? Or with a hotel that provides sitter service?

have a look at some of the specialist websites like all4kidsuk and babyfriendlyboltholes as they might be able to suggest what you are looking for.

tbh I have seen a few threads over the years looking for this and they are either very expensive, difficult to find or a bit of a worry. could you not employ a nanny/child minder locally and take them with you with their own room next to yours? at least then you would know who had your child and that it was safe. if you do find somewhere can you post it back so that it is there for others in the future.

I am in the camp of not leaving mine like this as I am always too concerned about who you get to do it. good luck

try sitters.co.uk

I was going to recommend Sitters too. I used to work for them so I know they do all the appropriate checks before taking a sitter on. They're not cheap though.

Another vote for Sitters.

If you're staying in a smart hotel, they may be able to help but I imagine it will be more expensive than sitters.
