Flying to Geneva in 6 wks, hiring car on arrival, but the rental co's don't seem to do car seats for that age? Does this mean we have to take his (heavy Maxi Cosi Priori thing).

Anyone have any experience? TIA

Europcar do I think.

They do, you have to request the up to 4 years/toddler category . We had one with Hertz last summer from Geneva (not that I'd recommend them - counter staff rude and didn't honour the internet quote, car seats weren't great either). Have used Avis and Europcar more happily in the past although not from there.

Thanks LizS Will check out Avis too.

Oh - and I do know Geneva is in Switzerland - we are driving on to France!!!!!!!!!

I would take your own regardless.... cause then you know it hasnt been in a crash and will actually protect your child in the event of an accident
