Ok..so far have got travel sorted and rooms booked at Radisson SAS. Thought that might be ideal as plus points...near the centre for shopping, station etc..and has spa, pool and hopefully a cocktail bar!!
Where oh where will we eat? we are aged 35-40 looking for somewhere nice but safe if that makes sense..trying to please lots of different people so somewhere middle of road, good but not too dear...also plans for clubs bars..etc..very much appreciated..THANKS!

October Cafe in Princes Square is lovely. Tiger Tiger in Glassford Street is great got a boogie and a few cocktails.

Most of the ones in the offer I have heard have really good reputations.

My brother stayed at the Radisson at Xmas for a few nights and was v happy with it.

If still undecided about food, how about Cafe Gandolfi (neither Italian nor Tapas, but very Glasgow,in a good way)?

Good Italian at the Brunswick Hotel in the Merchant City (quite funky, and noisy, but food very good), and fabulous pizza at Firebird on Dumbarton Road (further afield, not really city centre).

I also had a great meal recently at the Arthouse Hotel on Bath Street - I think the restaurant might have a different name, but anyway, v nice food.

There's a cafe at the top of Prices Square, whose name escapes me (something and something, two people's names - will try to find out) which has been highly recommended to me, though I haven't actually been there. Do cocktails too I think.
