Malaysia airlines anyone?

Sorry I know this has been done to death, but short on time to search back, but looking for info with Malaysia to Oz from London, flying with 18 month and dh at the end of March, I seem to remember people liking them but could do with reasons why please.

We've flown with Malaysia from London to KL and also within Asia. Seat pitch seems OK, food in economy OK, and good individual seat back entertainment. Good and charming service.

I am biased being a Malaysian but the cabin staff have been voted best economy class for 2006 by skytrax and they've won third best cabin crew in the world for 2006 (former winner of top place for the past 2 years if my memory serves me well)...first place this year is thai airways, second qatar. anyway, you can google all that...

Malaysia airlines cabin service is good, as singersgirl says v charming, v pleasant cabin crew.and they usually treat the foreign tourists especially well...particularly if you are with adorable little ones....

used to work for long haul travel company. we always recommended malaysian as they are competitively priced, do good stopovers, have the biggest seat pitch in economy and their customer service is second to none

It's true. MAS is great value. Flown on it many times.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure as with a Glagow connection we would be saving around £700 for the 3 of us, thought it might be too good to be true, and of course we are flying with an adorable little one..

I've flown with and without children regularly to Oz and Back with malaysia - I'm going to oz in two weeks with Singapore and wish it was with Malaysia again, because WITHOUT fail they have been fabulous. understanding, hospitable and the catering smell is great, when you get used to Randang curries at 2am.... Have no fear. You're in the best hands.
