Efteling vs Northumberland

DH wants to do Northumberland for a week. His reasons are cost and journey times.

I would like do Efteling for five days but he says its too much travel and he'd get bored after 2 days.

Any advice much appreciated.

I agree ZeViteVitch! I've spent 5 days at Efteling and it was fantastic. Theres more than enough to fill those 5 days.
I would council against combining it with something else in Holland, actually, if cost is a consideration. Holland is surprisingly expensive. Restaurant food, for example, is cheaper inside Efteling than in your average restaurant in Amsterdam.
