How long is it to drive from French channel ports to Garda, Italy?

Has anyone done this? Is it a very long drive?

That last link is helpful. I know it is meant to be about 11-12 hours.

We used to do it a long time ago. You'll want a couple of days and an overnight stop at the very least to do it comfortably if you are travelling with kids.

We did something similarish last year. Stopped overnight in Annecy.

Having said that, I have driven that much in one day before several times but I wouldn't really recommend it!
