Hi we all live in the same town and can easily get to London for a day, so that's what we all want to do. Just looking for something bit different, also fun and maybe with a literary connection? Somewhere for a nice long lunch, there will be 8 of us. Thanks!

Have you thought about a Secret London Walking tour ?

I try to do one each year and they are great. With 8 of you could probably have a whole tour to yourselves. I like the sound of the Liar,Liar one.

Also you can go to the top of 20fenchurch Street ( Walkie-Talkie building) for a drink .

Thanks Trumpton they look good but they don't start until April, we have a date we can all do the 4th March.

Skygarden at the top of the walkie talkie is good - and free - but you need to book in advance on their website.
